Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The goal of this project is to help my students learn English in a fun and creative way. My students are brand new to the country and eager to learn English as a new language. I believe students being able to learn in color is an essential part of learning a language. My school does not have a color printer for teachers to use regularly, so this would give my students bright and interactive class work, making them excited to learn the content! Middle schoolers are always hungry! Snacks are a great way to keep students engaged in the work throughout the day! In addition, we have board game breaks for small periods of time during our long learning blocks and I know my students would love to have some new games in the classroom!
