Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

Music in the classroom can be a wonderful tool which promotes learning and focusing in class. My Kindergarten students are just starting to adjust to big kid school. They need to feel safe, have fun and they have many learning goals to achieve.

Since school began this September, I have been playing my only children's instrumental cd as they work and learn at their desks. I have only a couple Cd's and would love to build a better music library so I have more ways of helping my students focus and learn new material. Since my school/district can not provide the funds needed I will need the help of a thoughtful donor.

I am requesting multicultural music Cd's to build acceptance of all cultures. I am also requesting literacy related Cd's to help my students learn in a different and fun way.

With your help my students will be able to work and learn while listening to culturally sensitive music and they will also be able to learn new material through a different medium.
