My Kids' Safe Space

My Project

I'm committed to creating a safe and supportive environment where every student feels seen, heard, and valued. Mental health is a top priority here, and I'm dedicated to helping my kiddies build resilience, confidence, and a growth mindset. Let's work together to foster a positive and inclusive classroom community where we can learn, grow, and thrive."

The main goals in my classroom are discussing stress management techniques, such as deep breathing or mindfulness exercises, encouraging open conversations about emotions and mental health, providing resources for students who may be struggling with mental health issues, incorporating activities that promote self-care and self-awareness and fostering a sense of community and connection among students.

Creating a supportive and calming classroom environment is a top priority for me! To help achieve this, I’m in need of some essential supplies such as snacks, a rug, flexible seating, markers and more.
