My students need a variety of snacks such as Cheez-it crackers, Rice Krispies Treats, Nabisco Variety Pack Minis, Pringles, animal crackers, cheese crackers, and more.
As a teacher, the first day of school is filled with excitement and a little nervousness. Today my day was filled with tears. My students have an early lunch and in the afternoon, three of my students cried because they were hungry and did not have snack to eat. I do not want this to happen again.
I teach the cutest six year-old students in the world.
My students are experiencing their first time in first grade which is a huge difference from kindergarten. My students have a very early lunch. In the afternoon when my students should be at their peek in energy, they become hungry and start losing focus.
I want to make their transition from kindergarten to first grade as comfortable as possible. This project will keep my students content and allow them to focus so that they can have the best school year ever.
My Project
I am requesting a variety of snacks such as Cheez-it crackers, Rice Krispies Treats, Nabisco Variety Pack Minis, Pringles, animal crackers, cheese crackers, Chips Ahoy cookies, and Oreo mini cookies. These snacks will be given to my students in the afternoon when they are hungry so that they can be full, content, and ready to focus.
Fisst grade is a very important year.
Students are learning at a faster pace and are preparing for state exams in the following years. This project will end my students crying and stressing over being hungry because they don't have a snack. My students already have a lot on their plate. I just want to be able to make this year easier for them. Having snacks in the classroom will keep them focused on their work and not on their growling bellies.
