My Students

My students are amazing! They are such generous and kind-hearted individuals. They see the world in such a positive manner and always bring this uplifting attitude to the art room.

In the art room we explore, experiment, create and investigate why artists and creativity are important.

Part of being a great teacher is giving students opportunities to incorporate varying media​ into their learning. I like to try new and weird materials to challenge students not only to think outside the box but to look at their world around them and see what they can make art with.

I love the energy my students bring to my classroom. No matter what their lives are like, they love coming to art because they get to have new experiences. Life is only a series of experiences, it is my goal for students to leave my classroom loving art.

My Project

My students must keep up with the latest advancements in career paths. Their future is bright and they just don't know all that is out there! Education is changing every single day, and so are the interests of my students. They are amazed every time they learn something new. In order for my students to experience art-related career paths, and hopefully pique their interest, we need jewelry pliers, both types of wire, and steel blocks to explore jewelry making. My students need jewelry making supplies so they can experience, hands-on, the brilliance their future has in store for them.

My students will love experimenting with jewelry making; they will marvel at its intricacy, beauty, and challenge.

Struggling students who find academics difficult thrive in the art room; these students are creative and need to learn more about art-related careers. Introducing them to jewelry making by using pliers, basic wire, and the steel blocks will let them know there is more out there.
