This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As a first-year special education teacher dedicated to supporting children on the autism spectrum, I am focused on creating an environment that prioritizes creativity, independence, and personal development. My students, many of whom come from underprivileged backgrounds, deserve an educational experience that not only addresses their unique needs but also motivates them to reach their fullest potential. Access to essential classroom resources is crucial to this mission, as these tools lay the groundwork for learning, engagement, and exploration. By providing alphabet and numbers manipulatives for our classroom, I can cultivate a nurturing and inclusive atmosphere that enables my students to excel both academically and personally.
