My Project
Hi! I’m stepping into my first year as a teacher—and it’s already quite the adventure. I just got married, and started my new teaching journey.
My goal is to create a nurturing classroom where students feel safe, supported, and inspired to learn.
I especially want to build a Comfort Corner—a cozy space where kids can take a break, reset, and feel emotionally cared for. This will be a soft, inviting area with things like cushions, calming tools, and mindful materials.
Beyond emotional support, I’m also focused on giving students what they need day-to-day: basic supplies like pencils, notebooks, and hygiene items. Many come to school without these, and I want them to know that everything they need to succeed is here for them. Additionally we'll need balls and jump ropes for recess.
And finally, my heart beats for STEM! I’m working hard to introduce hands-on learning experiences through science, technology, engineering, and math. With your help, I can bring in exciting tools, materials, and interactive activities that spark curiosity and creativity.
