Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I plan to use the pencils to support my students with writing. The tri-grip will allow young learners to learn how to grip their pencil correctly that will lead to some magnificent handwriting.
I plan to use the sight word tower and CVC sentence building as an extension of the learning when students are in centers.
This will give them opportunities to collaborate with their peers while continuing to learn their phonics and sight words.
I plan to use the number sequencing trains to support with math and counting. The magnetic tiles will give students the opportunity to match numbers with dots which will help them learn how recognize numbers in different representations.
