My Project
This seat will be used to help my students with an incentive seat. We also use new vocabulary to help them describe objects and how they make us feel. They get really excited to sit in the special seat. The speech students come to speech twice a week and they love being able to spin. Student with autism will use words to be able to describe how it makes them feel. This is increase expressive and receptive vocabulary skills for all my students. I can't wait to see their faces when they are able to use it. I am also asking for walkie talkies to help students talk and increase intelligibility to others. They are able to communicate in person but need more practice with increased intelligibility when not face to face.
