My Project
I love that my students are full of big feelings, big imaginations, and big potential. They are curious, kind, and still learning how to manage their emotions and navigate social situations. As their school counselor, I get to help them build the tools they need not just for academic success, but for life—tools like empathy, emotional regulation, and respectful communication.
These books will help my students learn how to recognize and manage emotions like anger and frustration, and understand the importance of boundaries and consent in age-appropriate ways.
The My Dragon series presents social-emotional lessons through engaging characters and fun storytelling that really resonates with young learners. With each story, students can see a relatable character face similar challenges and learn how to handle them in a healthy, respectful way.
