This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I aim to provide my young scholars with a technology learning center that can help all to learn how to use technology safely and responsibly. Students will have an opportunity to use the computer and printer to create a book about a study topic. The children will be given an opportunity to use the digital camera to take photos for the book. Each child will be given the opportunity to dictate, or tell a story, as the teacher assists on the keyboard. Children will explore the letters on the keyboard and practice using them. They will also publish their books using the printer.
Childhood programs provide the foundation to help children develop a strong understanding of how to learn and behave in social settings and to nurture their unique needs, strengths, and abilities.
