This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am trying to stock my classroom library with books that are fun and engaging for students so that they will be able to enjoy reading. Reading is a very important life skill that can be very difficult to become fluent in. My goal is to help students achieve their goals while acquiring a love of books. Reading is a skill that can help them learn how to do anything they have the aspiration to do later in life, so I want to help them to become happy and engaged readers. This project contains books on kindness and compassion, books in Spanish, and books to help students understand more about interacting in the world around them.
