My Students

I am a first year teacher, and I am so excited to begin this year at the school where I had the privilege to student teach at. My classroom this year will be full of 22 students who are eager and ready to learn! I can't wait to get my projects funded so my students can receive the resources that they deserve. When looking at my classroom library, it seems to be a little bare. Reading is a passion of mine, and I would love to share that with my students.

My Project

As a first year teacher, I would love to have my classroom library filled with some wonderful pieces of literature that my students will enjoy reading. My library is looking a little bare at the moment, and it would bring me great joy to see it come to life. Reading is such an essential part of learning especially in the elementary grades, and it would be amazing to provide these resources to my students.

During the school day, students will have many opportunities to pull out a book during free time or Daily 5 Reading, and I want to make sure that each and every one of my students can choose a book that best fits to their interest and reading level!
