Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The campus I work at is stationed in a low income community, a lot of students come to school without materials to be successful. This is why I am seeking assistance so that I can supply my classroom with essential, everyday supplies. These supplies will help my students not only be prepared but not feel left out for not having their supplies. The pencils and marking will make sure that students have the opportunity to participate in whole group lessons and independent work. The popcorn and snow cone machines will be used as a reward system giving student something fun and enjoyable to work towards. My students have so much potential to be so brilliant and I don’t want the lack of supplies to be a hindrance.
