My Project
Children NEED physical books in their hands. Don't get me wrong, it is awesome that so many books are accessible online whether it's ebooks or read-alouds on YouTube, Epic, or one of the many other forms students have access to. However, students need to have physical books in their hands as well. Having to physically turn the pages, track the lines while reading, stay better focused, be easier on your eyes, be able to easily go back if needed, or even just stop when needed. There is so much a student can gain from having the book in front of them.
There are studies that show that you'll retain more information and focus better with a physical book.
These studies show multiple other benefits as well. Your donation will help me give my students 12 more physical books in the classroom. Books that they can physically hold and love.
