Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My little Pre-K students are looking to learn and explore, the Scholastic magazines titled Science Spin and My Big World!
These Pre-K magazines are educational and engaging.
They focus on many science and social studies topics and come with a home copy for the children to share with their families. The magazines also cover recent topics of health and safety, as well as the changing seasons and other nature topics. There is an online component, which is interactive and allows me to further the lesson for the children. It is age appropriate for Pre-K! My students and I look forward to doing the shared reading together and to bring the magazine home to share with family!
