This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We are looking to continue a fun part of our curriculum. We have enjoyed the Scholastic magazine called My Big World for the past few years. It covers many science topics and comes with a home copy for families. The magazine also covers recent topics of health and safety as well as the changing seasons and other nature topics. There is also an online component, which allows me to further the lesson for the children. It is age appropriate for Pre-K and we love doing the shared reading together.

We are hoping to continue having this resource of the children to share and engage with peers and their families.
