Help me give my students Scholastic My Big World magazines that are developmentally appropriate and highly beneficial for getting students excited about reading.
FULLY FUNDED! Ms. Ball's classroom raised $324
This project is fully funded
My Project
Our students are 4 and 5 year-olds attending lottery-funded Georgia PreK and are part of a special needs inclusion classroom model. We will be working hard to prepare them for success in Kindergarten. This year is their first step in a life-changing journey. My goal is to help them gain a strong foundation.
These Scholastic My Big World magazines are wonderfully engaging and high-quality magazines that are developmentally appropriate and highly beneficial for getting students excited about reading.
These magazines will be used during our Whole Group Literacy lessons as a Shared Reading activity. Students will each have their own copy to hold, follow, and complete the enriching follow-up activities included. This kind of shared reading experience helps young students gain critical foundational literacy skills and helps them develop the important print concepts that they will need to become successful, enthusiastic readers. Please consider helping us achieve our PreK reading goals.
