This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are all children on the autism spectrum who attend a high-poverty school in the Bronx, NY and have trouble communicating. They are their generation's great artists, designers, researchers, and thinkers, but, unfortunately they are not able to share their gifts with their families, their peers, or with you because of their communication deficits. Your donation would provide three new iPads our students will use to communicate and learn now and in years to come. Please help me let their voices be heard and showcase their unique skills and contributions to the world.
More than three‑quarters of students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
