This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
New school, new art room, new students, new art projects. For my students from K1 to 8th grade, your help is very important. They need the dry racks to dry their creations. They are intelligent and curious students who are hungry to learn new painting techniques. My students will express their feelings by drawing, painting, and creating art. We will use watercolors, acrylics, tempera, and other media.
These artistic students will create their masterpieces, but their art will be wet; they need a safe space to dry like a bone.
With your support and generosity, my students will focus on creating art without worrying about a safe place to dry off their artwork.
In addition, they will learn to communicate their love, happiness, hopes, dreams, aspirations, loneliness, injustices, and fear.
