Help My First Graders Learn and Grow with Flexible Seating!
My 1st-grade students are active, curious, and full of energy!
They thrive in an environment that encourages collaboration, movement, and choice. Right now, our classroom furniture limits their ability to work together comfortably or to focus in ways that match their learning styles.
That’s why we’re asking for tables and flexible seating options.
Tables will allow students to work side by side, share ideas more easily, and engage in small-group activities that build both academic skills and social development. Flexible seating—like wobble stools, floor cushions, or standing options—gives students the ability to choose a spot where they learn best, whether they need to wiggle, stretch, or settle into a cozy corner.
Here’s how flexible seating and tables will support our goals:
