My Students

The students at our school are amazing! They arrive excited to learn and become involved in whatever topic that is in the plan. We have wonderful support from our parents. We have a very diverse population of students, culturally, economically, and with different learning abilities. It has become my goal to try and stay ahead of them!

This is a "new-normal" time, and we need to keep up with the changes.

One of the changes we are seeing is tutoring by computer as well as remote meetings and lessons.

My Project

In the new way that we provide learning to our students, many of our teachers are using their personal equipment to tutor and teach through Zoom classrooms. Our desktops are great for in the classroom, but they lack cameras and microphones.

Instead of updating our computer equipment, why not just add a camera?

That's what we all agreed would make the difference. We are hoping that this piece of equipment won't be needed, but how exciting it will be to sign into our math tutoring sessions without having to set up a new area from which to work!
