This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I teach an amazing and creative group of Title I students. They are so passionate about trying new things and pursuing skills that will give them a fighting chance to take life into their own hands. They strive for success, despite the adversity of their situations outside of school, and want to give back to others. I would like to give my student the opportunity to use tools that will provide access to the growing field of the digital arts.

My Project

As technology continues to advance, the digital arts are growing at an alarming rate. My students currently do not have access to digital art tools because of budget and software restraints. I would love to give my students an opportunity to use tools to aid them in a career-driven path. Help me give my students some Wacom tablets and light boxes.

These digital tools will impact students of all abilities and skill levels; what a rush to see students, who struggle making traditional art, flourish in the digital realm.

These tools will bring new ways to connect to all students and continue to provide real-world experiences that they tend to miss out on.
