What's a science classroom without labs? And what are labs without balances? Many labs my students need to do in order to really practice and master concepts we learn require balances. We must measure mass! My students also need rulers to help measure length and volume.
My students are very curious individuals who learn best from hands on activities.
By having electronic balances and rulers, my students will be able to do more hands on labs and get practice of measuring objects- an important scientific and life skill!
My Project
My students deserve to have the resources they need to expand and master their science skills. Science is fun because it is something that students can engage with directly, but without the adequate resources, it is hard to do so. My students need to be able to know how to use and balance and how to make measurements, and hence be able to tackle more complex science skills and concepts.
I want my students to have the opportunity to feel like their science class is truly a science class where they can do engaging labs and learn through hands on activities.
Through this project, my students will be closer to being able to really practice science and important science skills.
