Musical Woojer Vest! Feel Music Throughout Your Body!

Help me give my students a Woojer Vest 3 for use in our middle school music classroom. This vest will be shared among students in small groups, during listening activities, rhythm lessons, and music therapy-inspired sessions.

My Project

My students live in a small, rural community where access to cutting-edge learning tools is limited. Despite these challenges, they come to music class eager to learn, explore, and express themselves. I want to give them an unforgettable, immersive experience that brings music to life in a way they’ve never felt before—literally.

The Woojer Vest 3 is a wearable device that transforms sound into vibrations, allowing students to feel the beat of the music through their bodies.

This can be especially impactful for students with sensory processing needs or hearing differences, but it benefits all learners by deepening their connection to rhythm, dynamics, and musical expression.

This vest will:

- Allow students to physically feel music, enhancing engagement and understanding of rhythm and dynamics

- Support inclusive learning for students with hearing differences or sensory processing challenges

- Inspire creativity through multi-sensory exploration of sound

- Provide a rare opportunity for rural students to use state-of-the-art technology

In our school, we often have to do more with less. Your support will help us close the gap and offer experiences that students in more resourced districts might take for granted. You won’t just be funding a piece of equipment—you’ll be helping spark lifelong connections to music for dozens of young learners.

With your help, this vest will become a powerful teaching tool in our classroom—bridging gaps, inspiring creativity, and giving my students a chance to experience music with their whole selves. It will help accommodate students with any type of hearing impairments too. In a rural area where such resources are rare, your support would make a real difference.
