Musical Theater: Behind the Scenes!

My Project

Supporting my DonorsChoose project to purchase many of the important items the audience never sees, yet are required for quality theater productions empowers our young actors and fosters a sense of pride within our theater community.

These specific items hold the power to transform our students' theater performances.

By providing a couple of additional microphones, microphone belt packs, batteries for our wireless systems, and quality lighting for a safe experience backstage you will be helping ensure the success of our young actors when they step into the spotlight. The many batteries will allow us to have enough batteries to make it through dress rehearsals as well as performances with batteries for each microphone and be sure each singer is heard. The belt packs will ensure that our microphones are safely strapped to the students, helping extend the life of these expensive pieces of equipment! The new wireless microphones will allow us to have enough microphones without having to call out the area schools, hoping someone is able to loan us extras when needed.

This project aims to ease some of our budget restraints by seeking your help for some of the backstage essentials so our school budget can go toward any costuming needs.
