My music classroom is a place where stories come to life through sound and rhythm, and I want to enhance our storytelling with a selection of instruments like frog guiros, triangles, and chimes. These instruments will bring an extra layer of magic to our lessons, allowing students to create sound effects and musical accompaniments that elevate their understanding and enjoyment of the stories we explore together.
By incorporating these instruments into my lessons, students will not only engage more deeply with the narratives but also develop essential literacy skills such as sequencing, expression, and comprehension.
As they experiment with different sounds and textures, they’ll learn how music can be used to tell a story, convey emotion, and capture the imagination. My goal is to make provide space for students to connect music and literacy through storytelling, creating an interactive, multisensory experience that resonates with every student.

They are eager to explore new ways of expressing themselves and are always excited to discover how music can enhance their stories. These instruments will empower them to take ownership of their learning, giving them the tools they need to bring their ideas to life in new and exciting ways.
