My Students

My students are eager to learn more about and to experience music more and more each day. With your help, we can expand our creative arts department! I am slowly building up the program through Donors Choose and through grant writing.

Each time a new instrument or curriculum arrives in my room, my students are filled with excitement and curiosity.

My Project

My students are in middle school and one of the standards in music is to compose. My students need to be able to practice naming notes and writing out different musical phrases to be able to compose eventually. Having these white boards that have the staff already on it will be so helpful for us to reach the musical standard individually and as a class. I will be able to walk around the room and assess the students work and I will be able to help them create their own compositions. These white boards will help build the foundation for their musical masterpieces.
