My Students

Some of my students are just waiting to be discovered! They are gifted in music and theater and yearn to show their ability. This could be the chance to show how they are Musical Masters. The next American Idol might be right in the classroom.

My students are a diverse group of children that attend school in a large urban area.

They enjoy the arts,especially music and drama. Many of the children are natural leaders and love to share creative ideas. Our school budget had been greatly reduced so it lacks the resources to support the students interests.

My Project

My students love to perform. They are inspired to learn by doing and leading. I plan to have my students film their original plays and songs. These productions will tie into our learning across all subjects and make learning meaningful for all children. In addition my students will be able to use the IPAD for research, photos, I Tunes Music, and various editing applications that will further enhance their musical productions.

This project will change my student's outlook on learning greatly.

Instead of wanting to leave school for an audition they will see school as an opportunity to perform and be discovered. The children will be personally engaged in their own learning. This project will allow students to become musical masters.
