Help me give my students instruments like egg shakers and rhythm sticks as well as scarves to move with!
FULLY FUNDED! Ms. Smith's classroom raised $490

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are special in so many ways! At our Performing Arts elementary school, students will explore musical elements with a variety of instruments (egg shakers, rhythm sticks, percussion instruments, etc.) and move to the music with scarves.
Our music classroom currently has a very limited inventory of musical instruments; not enough for each student in one class.
Please consider funding this project so students can learn rhythms and explore melodic contour with unpitched instruments and scarves. This year we plan to move our bodies, compose rhythms, and do lots of singing!
Nearly all students from low‑income households
