Musical Game Resources: Hula Hoops, Balls and More!
Help me give my students Jump ropes, tennis balls, hula hoops, and larger outside playground balls to use during our music lessons.

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
In elementary music, we play games and practice musical skills with a variety of songs and activities. It is during these games that I am able to reinforce certain musical concepts, and use both formal and informal assessments of each students knowledge. Games we play sometimes need things such as jump ropes, balls, and hula hoops to help enhance the activity and make it more effective by moving and playing.
With your help, we would be able to do jump rope activities/songs, bounce balls back and forth while we sing, and organize instruments into difference categories of how they make sounds, for example.
There are many more ways we can use these resources, and each of them include the students getting up, moving their body, and activating both sides of the brain.
