This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Do you remember singing along in class during music time? Well, with all of our budget cuts, music has been thrown out the window. I intend to bring it back!

I teach a great group of third grade students.

These motivated learners are very hard workers. Many of my students are classified as English learners. Most of the students in my class have learned English as a second language. I intend to further their language development through music. Doesn't that SOUND great!

My Project

A new guitar and karaoke machine will give us more time to enjoy music. I can retire the "tuning challenged" old guitar for one ready-to-play when picked up. These musical tools will not only help my student with language development, but also bring music back to the classroom. Music improves academics and promotes a positive attitude toward school.

This guitar and karaoke machine will help us continue to create a positive learning environment that kids enjoy being a part of.

Music stimulates the brain and helps them transition from one task to another. Join us in our quest to learn!
