This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are 4-and 5-year-old that come from low-income families or have just arrived from their home countries. We know the common musical instruments such as maracas and jingles but my students are not used to seeing xylophones, bongos or even ukelele. I want to bring those instruments to the classroom and let them explore different ways we use them.
Music brings energy, laughter, and lets creative movements come together.
We will also use the wireless speaker to listen to music and do karaoke to practice their singing voices. With the speaker, we can also have classroom concerts and make memories.
