it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My school is designated a Title I school because it services a high percentage of students from low-income families. It is composed of high percentage of limited English proficient children and children with disabilities. My class is composed of highly motivated 4th grade students. My class has a large range of abilities and intellect and are always looking to improve their learning. I strive to make their education engaging and fun. My goal as their teacher is to give them the life skills and proper education needed to succeed in life and become the future leaders of their community. With your help, we can acquire the tools and skills to reach their dreams. Thank you and any little help is very much appreciated.
My Project
I remember one of my fondest memory of music in elementary was learning to play the recorder. However, lack of musical instruments have prevented my class and our school to implement playing musical instruments. These materials will make a big difference in my class because it will give each student a recorder that they can learn to play. I feel these recorders will make students eager for music time. I plan to use these recorders to teach students to read and play music year round. Help me give my class a wonderful musical experience. Thank you for your time and consideration.
