This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Music sequencing and sampling are part of a modern composer's toolkit. My kids who dream of becoming music innovators will need to learn these skills to reach their goals. With this computer, students will learn to compose and craft music with professional tools such as GarageBand and MovieMaker.

In order for an arts program to be relevant, kids need opportunities to see and experience how today's art and music is created.

The Chromebooks the students are currently using are not compatible with the most powerful and intuitive music software, which is only available on Mac. Creating projects in GarageBand and MovieMaker will be authentic experiences in the arts. The students will love using the MacBook to create. Thank you so much for your generous support.
