My Students
Do you remember being part of an instrumental music ensemble in your school? Please help our growing program develop even further.
Our program is a school that is 100% special needs.
Most of our students are on the autism spectrum, or have cognitive delays. Nevertheless, they are avid learners and wonderful musicians. Our music program is designed to teach them different elements of music, while also building important connections that students will bring into the real world.
My Project
Our orchestra program needs music stands. As our students become more developed musicians, and become more independent, they need music stands that they can use when performing. As our program develops, our students are getting asked to perform more throughout the school, and the community.
Our students are wonderful musicians, and actively are seeking more performance opportunities to share their skills.
This will benefit them in it will further enhance their self esteem by allowing them to have more performance opportunities.
