Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students work so very hard each and every day. My students deserve a diverse learning experience! With these music manipulatives, students will have a hands on learning experience and learn to create music with others. The tools will be used across all grades in the building. Our school has been enjoying creating music again and these materials will allow us to further their love of learning in music and to strive for the highest. Thank you for helping me to help them thrive in and out of my classroom.

1) The music staff white boards will be used to compose music, learn how to write music, and practice our rhythms and notes to be successful musicians.

2) Beach balls, dice and bear will all be used as manipulative’s for but not only, singing, reading rhythms, practicing steady beat, and creating music.

3) Books are a great tool to not only end class, summarize and wrap up a unit, but to add musical instruments to them as well.

All of these materials will create hands on activities to learn our musical concepts!
