Music Makes the World a Better Place for Our Students!

Help me give my students a brighter future by helping them sound their best at their music and performing arts concerts through a sound system with monitors so they can feel confident and proud of their hard work.

My Project

Our students in all the grades work hard every year learning songs to perform for holidays, recordings, choral concerts and other school-wide performances. We have sound equipment that is 35 years old and is falling apart. Our students work so hard to produce the best sounds that it is a shame that they cannot be heard after all those hours of rehearsals.

We need better speakers, monitors and a sound board that will accommodate our five mics that were donated from Donors Choose a few years ago.

We haven't been able to properly use them, and it is disappointing and heartbreaking for the students who work so hard to know that the mics won't work or be heard properly. We will also use the new sound system for our before-school choir. We have students in grades 4-6 that come 45 minutes early to school once a week and then during their lunch time to rehearse their songs, some of them solos and duets. With a new sound system they will be able to hear the backtracks and hear themselves better also. This gift will make all our performances 100% better and brighten the hearts of all our singers and families and friends who come to support them!
