This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are special because they love to learn about different types of music. Covid took away their opportunity to use instruments and play with others. We are excited to work in groups with new classroom crafts and further explore instrument families, composers, rhythms, and new stories.

I teach grades K-6 and these materials will be used by about 700 different students.

Basic things like new crayons and construction paper will transform one dimensional learning into 3D learning! Team work will really enhance the lessons and new friendships will be made.
