My Project

As a music teacher with a background in psychology, I know how important music is in life. As a universal language, music has the power to touch people from different backgrounds. Music is also a very powerful tool to encourage expression in people who aren't always able to articulate their feelings. My students deserve the opportunity to experience music at its fullest capacity while they are in my classroom.

Regardless of their background, students deserve the space for artistic expression.

My students have a strong desire to explore music and instruments, and simply need the resources to be able to do so. I believe recorders and ukulele's are great introductory instruments for students learning about woodwind and string instruments. Students should be able to have an opportunity for a hands on introduction to the various instrument groups and they currently don't have that opportunity. With the help of donors like you, that will soon become their reality.
