This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Hello we are a fabulous little kindergarten classroom in a VERY large BAY area classroom. We are very high poverty school which means we are very under funded during this recession especially in California. SONIC IN THE HOUSE! We are hoping to get some votes to get this project funded through some awesome voters and some funding from people like you!
Many of my students do without most of the time.
We have very little money for anything at our school. We get the wonderful things from DONORSCHOOSE, because we do not have a PTA, we do not have extra funding at all. My teacher loves music! She is a fiddle player and a guitar player. She teaches us songs everyday that have to do with math, reading, days of the week etc. She's so cool shes making a kids album too! She is hoping for some rocking people out there to help us get some rhythm instruments to play along with her. Music helps us learn math and patterning and opens so much of our right brain power! Will you help us?
My Project
The solution is simple, no matter how small your donation, we need your help. We want to learn through music. There is virtually no music in schools anymore. Please help us bring back music into our kindergarten classroom.
YOU ROCK!! We love donors who directly help the public school systems. Just know that your dollars are going towards musical instruments that will out last the teacher!! These instruments will be used for years to come. Please help us get some rhythm instruments to help us learn patterning, sense of music and rhythm.
