This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I teach at 3 different schools that haven't had a choir director in years. The materials they have to help students get organized are lacking. The music folders will help my students have a place for their music to prevent damage or losing it. Students often lose their music and don't have easy access to it. They have cubbies, but without folders, the music falls down in the cracks, and can't be retrived. The majority of my students can't afford binders, so these folders are an affordable option for them.
