My Students

Our students have the desire to learn and perform music, they just haven't had the chance to do this with quality materials and equipment. We want to give them the chance to do this with nice things that will give them confidence.

We are a small charter school with a great community behind it.

We have a diverse population that likes a wide variety of music. The school and students have wonderfully diverse concerts with Band, Choir, and Soloist/small ensembles. With budget cuts all over, we struggle and rely on other means to provide.

My Project

We are asking for reeds and a strap for our saxophone players, a couple of mic stands for vocalists, and a mic for soloists on instruments. Every student at our school is given the opportunity to play an instrument for free, take free private lessons and perform at every concert. The program is based on a no-risk music idea. No student has to pay for rentals or lessons. I want to keep this program alive in order to enrich the lives of every student that passes through our school.

This donation will help the students by giving them quality materials and equipment so they can express themselves and realize their potential in performing great music for family and friends.
