Music Department Percussion Revamp

Help me give my students a chance to play our percussion instruments at school.

My Project

At our school, I teach a thriving, before-school rock drum club. Also, the children in grades 4-5 learn to play the back beat on the drum set.

Over time, normal wear and tear cause the drums and other instruments to break down.

I would appreciate your help in mending what we have!

Our gong is cracked, so I would like to replace it with a SABIAN 52802 28" Symphonic Gong. Our drum pedal is broken, so I would like to replace it with a Premier 4000 Series Deluxe Drum Pedal. Most of our drum heads are old, cracked, and warped, so I would like to replace the drum heads with a Remo Smooth White Ambassador Bass Drum Head 26 in., Pearl MFH Mesh Tom Head for Rhythm Traveler Drum 14 in., Pearl MFH Mesh Tom Head for Rhythm Traveler Drum 14 in., and Pearl MFH Mesh Tom Head for Rhythm Traveler Drum 10 in. Finally, drum sticks splinter and break over time. I would like to buy more 5A drum sticks.

Unfortunately, there isn't a lot of money to maintain the drums and equipment at our school. We don't currently have a PTA and most of the families I work with are from low income households. I pay to repair as many of the instruments as I can, but I can't afford everything on my own.
