This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I teach both music and art in a Dallas elementary school. I have art tables on one side of the room. I tried using chairs for music, but they caused wasted time stacking chairs or moving chairs for every time we did a game or dance which is part of every class.
These carpet squares will help me keep students organized and give them their own personal space.
It will help with classroom management by giving the students a specific area for them to stay since we won’t have chairs. Help me use the time wisely by having the carpet squares to sit on but not having to move it all the time.
