I am planning to do centers as an activity in my 3rd - 5th grade music classes this Fall. One of my centers will be a keyboard center.
This center will give the students the opportunity to learn and develop their music skills while learning to read music & practice their reading skills. This center will also give them an opportunity to compose songs and simple accompaniments.
I am in need of keyboards for my students for this center. These instruments will be used mostly with the 3rd to 5th grade students. I will also use them to introduce the keyboard & basic notation to the younger students during the year.
My school currently has no resources for the 3rd to 5th grade music students as we are adding these grades to my school this Fall. I need activities to engage this children and give them some hands on activities and this is just one of those resources that will aid me in doing this for my students.
