My Students
I am going into my 13th year of teaching kindergarten. I love kindergartners because they are so eager to learn new things. I love watching them get excited about reading new books and learning new things.
My students are so special that I want to keep them every year.
I know this year will be one for the record books. All my students come from different backgrounds which make each one of them so special to me. We love to listen to each one of them and where they live and how alike and different we are.
I also have ELL students who are so special to me. I love seeing them grow and learn something new. I find it rewarding when my kindergartners that have been struggling with a lesson finally understand it and their faces light up with pride. Makes my heart happy for them. I love to listen to them read and understand what they are reading.
My Project
My only CD player went out last year in my classroom. I would like to get one this year for my students because we do a lot of singing and dancing in class. The students love to get up and move and sing but learn at the same time.
Students love building things with different manipulatives!
The Lego and magnetic blocks will help my student with their imagination and learning in a social environment. The task cards will help the students to follow directions and they will have to use their brain. The students may not know that they are learning they will just be having fun building things.
