This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Beginning Kindergarten opens a whole new world for the kiddos. Helping them grasp all the information they need is helped by using music and movement. Their active minds and feet need to move.

These students attend a public charter school.

95% of them come from low-income families who chose our school to ensure a better future for their children. They come from different cultural backgrounds and various family settings. We try to provide all we can for these kids to better their educational experience.

My Project

Kindergarten is the foundation of these students educational career. Coming from different backgrounds, music is the one thing they all have in common. By getting them up and moving, their brains will absorb so much more because these items will keep them engaged and interested. My student need floor puzzles and rhythm sticks to enjoy learning more.

This project is important for these kiddos because they need different ways of learning.

Donating to this project will help show the kids how music and movement will help them learn. We need to get these kids off the couch, up, and moving.
