My Students

My students are from diverse cultural and economic backgrounds. They range in age from 5 to 14. For the last 2 years they have been engaged in online and in person learning. They benefit emotionally, physically, and mentally from the movement class I teach.

Music inspires, heals, and unifies children at every stage of development.

I am Miss Raven, eurythmy (harmonious movement) teacher. I get to see the range of child development from age 5 through fourteen. Though each stage has its unique gifts and needs, there is one thread that weaves through the entire span. That thread is music. In my movement class, we are fortunate to have a live musician to accompany us almost every day. It is my wish to have music available every day. I am hoping to receive funds for a Bluetooth speaker so that the healing power of music is accessible any time we need it.

My Project

This Bluetooth Speaker will enable us to have music to move to every day.

I teach all the students in our school, grades K-8, seeing approximately 120 children each day. Especially in these times of Covid 19, music and movement are healing, strengthening, revitalizing, and calming to all ages. Please consider funding this project that will be immense help both physically and emotionally to hundreds of children.
