it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Have you ever walked into a building and been blown away by the beautiful painted murals all around? That's my goal for the rest of this year and next year. I started painting murals around my classroom last year and the kids love it! Why not spread that out all around the school? Students will have the opportunity to create drawings and their peers will choose which of these drawings will be created into student-designed murals. Students will all have the opportunity to take part in the creation and implementation of these school-wide murals. With this portable handheld projector, I can spend less time prepping the drawings on the walls and more time creating with my students. This handheld projector would cut the time in half that it takes me to pull out the old school projector, draw my design on an old transparency, and lug that with a ton of extension cords to the location, set it up, and start. By that time, it's time to clean up and attempt it another day. This portable projector will make the process as easy as 1-2-3 and our school will be colorful and inviting.
